QUIZ:

The property I am looking for/dreaming of offers: (Select One)

A. 4000 square foot RECORDING STUDIO in  200+ year old barn with 24′ ceilings, astonishing  acoustics (as judged by musicians ranging from Billy Joel band members to the New York Philharmonic to owner TOMMY WEST of Cashman and West) located in rural New Jersey, one hour from Manhattan, or 45 minutes if there is no traffic, a contingency which has never occurred.

B: 4000 square foot FEDERAL STYLE COLONIAL FARMHOUSE, 200+ years old, rambling with nooks and crannies all over the place, fully  renovated preserving all its antique features and charm.   This includes the addition of  a log cabin built circa 1790 in South Carolina by the owner’s Great, Great, Great Grandfather,  John Verner, who at age 13 was  one of the youngest soldiers in the Revolutionary War (documented by DAR records). The cabin was disassembled in 1978 and reassembled here the same year (minus the resident copperheads and mice).   There are three areas of the house which can readily serve as home offices (with a bathroom), two of which have fireplaces and separate entrances via  a heated walkway.

C.  11.85  acre HORSE FARM, 3 miles from the headquarters of the United States Equestrian Team, farm assessed so the taxes are low, 8 acres of fenced pasture, adjacent to hundreds of miles of protected horse trails (Tewksbury Township trail system)  and with easy access to some of  the world’s most respected horse trainers in dressage, equitation, hunter-jumper, eventing and Western.  Ten minute drive to the annual Far Hills Races which every October draw Steeplechase fans from all over the east coast and beyond.  Six miles away is the legendary  Essex Hunt Club  home of the Essex Fox Hounds with which Jacqueline Onassis rode. The Fox Hounds foundation lands comprise many thousand of acres of land and the Hunt  Club is  now  hosting the Mars Essex Horse Trials, which are open to both professional and amateur equestrians.

D.  SERENE 12 ACRE PROPERTY WITH POOL,  BEAUTIFUL VISTAS AND EXTENSIVE GARDENS, in the rolling hills of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, which has just been named by the Childhood Report Division of “Save the Children” as the #1 SAFEST COUNTY  IN AMERICA TO RAISE A CHILD. The county is comprised of  about 438 square miles and to date there have only been 1200+ cases of Coronavirus.  There are God knows how many bedrooms (since old houses are light on closets and bedrooms aren’t considered bedrooms without them) between the house and the barn ( both heated and cooled with GEOTHERMAL). We figure we can comfortably sleep 27 people on percale sheets (with a minimum of 400 thread count).
